The Committee filed the “Recommendation of Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors In Support of the Third Amended Joint Chapter 11 Plan of BlockFi Inc. and Its Debtor Affiliates” pursuant to Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code.

The Bankruptcy Court conducted a hearing during which it announced that the Debtors’ motion to seal customer information (Docket Number 4) will be continued until May 8, 2023. The Interim Order protecting customer information from public disclosure will remain in effect until then. The Court also announced that it would hold a hearing on April 19, 2023 to consider the issue of whether transfers that occurred after the “Platform Pause” should be recognized, unless a consensual resolution can be reached prior.

BlockFi Inc. and 8 affiliated debtors (collectively, the "Debtors") each filed a voluntary petition for relief under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey (Trenton).
